Plano Architects I Know
I live and work in Plano, TX. Since this is where I work and live I know a lot of professionals. I happen to know a considerable number of Plano architects. I have grown to know these people though professional and personal dealings. Most of the Plano architects I have met have been though projects I have done with them as co-designers. The first co-project I did was with John Williams of Williams and Associates Inc. This project was a hamburger restaurant on Park Avenue. It was not a very large restaurant but with both of us working on it we made the owner very happy. The next co-project I did was a very large custom house plan design. I worked with Steve Phillips with Dupont and Associates Architecture on this project. I did the preliminary layout and design while they did the final construction drawings. We both would tour the job site while it was being constructed to make sure our drawings were followed. The last project I have done as a co-project was probably my most fulfilling. I worked with Carl Wilson of KTR and Associates on an elementary school in Mexico City. We both worked on this project for free to help the people that were building the school. The school was constructed for underprivileged children so they could get a head start in life. I made several trips to the school and I have never been so proud in anything I have done in regards to architecture. Seeing the happy faces of the children in the school I designed is very fulfilling. Doing this last project has made me more apt to do more projects like this one. I just wish more people would volunteer their time to help some of the less fortunate in the world.
Happy with My New Promotion
When a notice went up at work about a promotion that was available in Oklahoma City, I jumped at the chance for it. I submitted the proper paperwork and was happy to find out a few weeks later that I was hired for the new position. I grew up in a small suburb of Oklahoma City and had a lot of friends and family in the area.
